Monroe College is pleased to invite you to collaborate with our students enrolled in the Business Policy and Strategy capstone course. This course, taken in the final semester of the bachelor's program, immerses students in the world of strategic management and business policy. Students will engage deeply with strategic management concepts, corporate governance, and both societal and organizational analysis. They will apply their knowledge in management, accounting, marketing, economics, and finance to real-world scenarios, developing skills essential for formulating and implementing business strategies.


Employers participating in this collaboration are expected to maintain regular communication with student teams, provide necessary guidance and information, attend the final presentation virtually, and offer constructive feedback through the Riipen platform.

Requirements

Ideal projects for this experience include:

  1. Corporate Governance Assessment: Evaluate a company's corporate governance practices and recommend improvements.
  2. Strategic Market Analysis: Conduct a comprehensive market analysis to identify strategic opportunities and threats.
  3. Business Strategy Formulation: Develop a strategic plan for a business, including vision, mission, goals, and objectives.
  4. Implementation of Strategic Initiatives: Create an implementation plan for a specific strategic initiative, detailing steps, resources, and timelines.
  5. Organizational Culture Analysis: Analyze the impact of organizational culture on business performance and suggest strategies for cultural alignment.
