This design project aims to build a variety of consumer electronics product concepts. The project involves a multidisciplinary approach encompassing, industrial design, 3D modelling, research, material analysis, and mechanical engineering principles. The core objective is to design unique product concepts in the consumer electronics space while fostering real-world engineering skills among budding STEM enthusiasts.

Deliverables
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design unique product concepts
  • Engage in research to identify innovative materials and designs that enhance product efficiency and performance.
  • Utilize 3D modelling software to create, analyze, and refine CAD designs.
  • Assist in the design for assembly and testing of prototypes, collecting data to inform design modifications.
  • Contribute to project documentation, including design specifications, performance analysis, and research findings.


Mentorship

To ensure the success of the students in the Design Project, I plan to provide a robust support system. This includes providing regular feedback and technical guidance through weekly or bi-weekly check-ins. Training sessions and workshops on essential skills and technologies such as 3D modeling and product development will be organized to bridge any knowledge gaps. I will ensure that students have access to necessary resources including software and learning resources for all tools.
