target market social media communication digital marketingInternship or Student Group Project:
We need a team of 3 students for 210 hours, to help us develop a digital marketing strategy to grow and engage our target market.
We want to create a plan, and calendar for a year, for at least one of our social media platforms, Facebook.
We’d like to know how we can maximize our impact on Facebook and other social media channels and what will work best for us.
The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:
- Plan a year long calendar of events, and special days to connect with on FB.
- How can we use the FB groups to build community in our organization?
- What budget is appropriate for advertising?
- What kinds of posts can we create from our existing website content to promote our speakers?
Due to the nature of our business and content, we require an Indigenous person with a understanding of colonization and Indigenous culture to aid in the communication using social media. That cultural knowledge is way more important than a knowledge of social media technology.
At IISB, we provide dedicated educational support staff. Our staff are experienced educators and have a passion for helping students find their gifts and develop their skills. We want to help you - help us. Your energy and enthusiasm, combined with our experience and business model will create beneficial experiences for all of us.
