Enhancing Health and Wellness Web App Features

Voice4Equity is developing an MVP version of an app to support professional women with their health and wellness. We have several operational tasks and feature set additions to complete. The goal is to create a more interactive and goal-based experience for users, encouraging them to engage more frequently with the app. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of web development, user experience design, and project management in a real-world setting. The tasks are closely related and can be completed by a team of learners from a single academic program, such as computer science or information technology.

Health and Wellness App Design & Implementation

Voice4Equity is developing an MVP version of an app to support professional women with their health and wellness. We have several operational tasks and feature set additions to complete. The goal is to create a more interactive and goal-based experience for users, encouraging them to engage more frequently with the app. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of web development, user experience design, and project management in a real-world setting. The tasks are closely related and can be completed by a team of learners from a single academic program, such as computer science or information technology. The main feature set that needs to be design and built is addition of SMS functionality, via AWS SNS, that sends notifications to users depending on settings in the app. The initial functionality will involve sending one notification per day, at a user defined time, when a particular activity is scheduled, if the user has turned on notifications.
