Twenty-five years in software and clean-green tech including 15 years with Microsoft helping launch a dozen enterprise applications including Office, Windows Server, Windows Client, SharePoint, Small Business Server, Azure, Phone 7 and Phone 8 and more as well as co-founder of Microsoft Business Value Team which changed Microsoft enterprise sales model from features and benefits to pre-deployment financial scenarios. First person at Microsoft in early 1996 to write a series of articles to CXOs on why they needed to adopt the web for business. Co-founded 6 start-ups including cyber security, middleware, VOD, social search, alternative energy and regenerative agriculture. Partner in two early stage investment companies. Chairperson, Regenerative Agriculture committee, Blockchain for Impact with inaugural meeting at UN. Early professional work in environmental urban public policy. Strategic Business Prospecting Plan & Outreach - Influencer & Digital Agencies

There are three stages of this project: (1) Building a database of influencer and digital marketing agency and large brand prospects for B2B outreach; (2) Create a simple step-by-step strategy for prospecting in our target market. (3) Conducting the first stage of direct outreach via phone and/or email and/or social media (for example, LinkedIn) To become a proactive sales team, we need assistance developing an outreach process. We would like to equip our sales team with a plan that guides them in researching new prospects, identifying key contacts, and reaching out with compelling messages. The project may include, but is not limited to: Identifying new potential accounts that align with our current customer base. Compiling relevant market information. Building a customizable outreach script. Creating a simple tracking framework, including metrics, for measuring outreach success. The first project deliverable is a database including research, analysis, and recommendations for outreach and includes, company name, best person to contact, contact email and phone and social media alias. It should assist our sales team in successfully prospecting within our target market with actionable recommendations that will increase sales conversions. The second project deliverable is a step-by-step plan with sales script and related communications collateral such as a slide deck presentation or related video. The third project deliverable is for the student to conduct a planned and deliberate outreach to all the contacts on the database to establish a relationship and initial presentation. Need to develop dedicated sales scripts for each audience - influencer agency, digital agency, brand. Ideal outcome is direct presentation to business prospect and to establish a strategic partner relationship.

We want to launch our product offering to multiple channels from a bottom-up and top-down approach. Bottom-up is with normal hashtag users, solopreneurs, content creators and maturing influencers. Top-down is with influencers with large reach, influencer agencies, digital marketing agencies and established brands We need insights to help anticipate the ramp-up to commercialization and the best approach to go to market successfully with our new product. Initial questions to brainstorm include, but are not limited to: 1. Where in the world is the best place to launch for early success? Should we just default to launching where we live? What is the total market size for this opportunity? 2. With whom should we partner on manufacturing, kitting, packaging, warehousing, and fulfillment? How complex is that and how much will it cost, realistically? 3. Who are our closest competitors and how do we differentiate ourselves? 4. How do we establish our brand: Build awareness, acquire customers, and defend any early success? We are looking to gain alternative perspectives on potential marketing tactics and better understand the current competitive market. Deliverables include a strategic plan with specific steps for tactical implementation including critical success factors and key performance indicators so we can measure results once implemented.
