Awareness Video Creation
Our organization is passionate about promoting social causes. We want to increase awareness about a particular topic. We want to collaborate with students to create an awareness video. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with the social cause, our mission, and goals. Recording a presentation or screencast to raise awareness on the issue. Finding and applying suitable background music. Text, transitions, and overlays are added to the video. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Presenting the video and making edits based on feedback. Recommending ideas and editing tools for future awareness videos.
Website Development
Main Objective The primary goal of this project is to implement a new, modern website for Operation Meraki based on our existing Figma UX/UI design to attract more customers and enhance the overall user experience. Problem Statement and Expected Outcome We are on a mission to change the veteran transition landscape for veterans and their families so that they can successfully reacclimate to civilian life in a way that maximizes their personal and professional potential. By the end of this project, learners will have successfully developed and launched a modern, easy-to-maintain website that aligns with our new Figma design, enhancing user engagement and supporting our business goals. Project Steps for Students Research : Investigate different site-building tools like Webflow and WordPress. Evaluate their pros and cons to determine the best fit for implementing our Figma design. Needs Analysis : Conduct a thorough analysis to identify the most suitable platform for our website based on our design requirements. Website Development : Collaborate with us to develop the new website, using our Figma design and adhering to our content and guidelines. Testing and Feedback : Test the website with potential users to gather feedback and refine it based on their input. Training : Provide comprehensive training on updating and maintaining the new website to ensure it remains current and functional. By completing these steps, students will gain hands-on experience in web development, from initial research and planning to execution, testing, and user feedback, culminating in a fully functional and user-friendly website for Operation Meraki.
